todays destination.....prague!!!! hi everyone again. since our last entry we have travelled to the popular destination/capital of Czech Republic, Prague. We set early sunday morning catching the supposed 9.21am train(it actually got in 20 mins late. this train was due to drop us off in a german town called dresden at aprox 13.47 so we could run to platform 5 to catch the 13.55 to prague. as the train was late and also because we had an unscehduled train change(due to train technical problems) we actually got in at 14.20!!!!!!! so as you can see we had to wait for a while. during this time i did my good dead for the day and helped a poor german lady carry her bike down some stairs. she was talking to me but i could not understand a word she was saying....i just smiled and laughed. when the train did arrive it had changed platforms, but we managed to use our brilliant minds and caught it. this train journey took us along a fantastic setting right along a river into prague. the views were amazing and the housing along the way were very picturesque. the views started to fade into dark dreary wet czech towns looking more and more uninviting as we got closer to prague. ummm. but as the train approached we got off and headed for the exit. on the way out we stopped in the tourist info area and found ourselves accomodation from a very strange looking man with eyes like space saucers. we booked up for 3 nights at a very resonable price(theres a reason for the cheapness). we left the train station and walked in the rain to the end of a park where our hostel awaited us. it looked fine from outside,still not to bad in the reception so we got our keys and went to our room. ummm, its a very large room, its a very tall room, its a very cold room and a wee bit smelly. that may have been hannah.....still cant tell. lol. we think the building was an old mental hospital/surgery. we have taken pics so thats we can share the greatness with you. this was not the worst bit.....the communal bathrom/kitchen/slaughtering house......that stinks like a lift in a multi story car park. so we wont be cooking in there. apart form the accmodation the town in beautifull and very very cheap!!!!beer is ridiculously cheap..its amazing. 1/2 litre of beer for 25p hahahahahahaha. unfortuantly we still cannot up load our photos but will asap. hope all is good back home and not working to hard. bye for now han and kie xx :o)
