Kieran & Hannah's world tour of the world.
Hey every one,
Well it has been a while since our last update.
Over a week infact.
We left the on the 8th and trained down to Venice from Munich took just over 7 and a 1/2 to get there.
When we arrived it was boiling, was 28.c and we had our lovely big bags on our backs!
Venice was gorgeous, just as you see it on t.v...lots of gondalas, water and boats of good/weird looking people with huge glasses(some of those glasses were>>amazingly big)
We made our was over to the bus station where we caught our bus to a campsite situated 25min away from the city.We were both quite excited as we really like camping plus the weather was gorgeous and they had a pool!
We arrived checked in and made our was to our house tent. Which we were expecting to be a lil bit bigger but did have more space than a normal size tent.
We droped off our stuff locked up our tent and caught he nxt bus back in to the city.
It was so nice to explore without our bags.
The city was like a maze of water and bridges with shops sitting closly in narrow streets opposite each other. The houses where also lovely with old traditional shutters and fowers from them.We took alot of pictures that we will update as soon as we find a cafe that will let us :0(.
We were hoping to be able to do our own cooking at the campsite but they didnt have any cooking supplies so we were looking around the town for camping stuff we could use.We bought a cheap pasta pot and some pasta sauces and crackers hotdog sausages and cheese spread.
Unfortunatly we couldnt find any place that sold gas so we ate cheese spead and crackers with hotdog sausages for a day or two.löl. The site had a restaurant and we ate there for one night but was to expensive to eat there every day.
Luckily we did find there was a camping shop just up the road from the campsite where we manged to by some gas, so from that day on we had some cooked food!!
The week spent in venice was really nice and relaxing.we spents a good 3 days just swimming, bathing, playing ping pong, playing cards and drinking beer.
There was a downside tho...being eaten alive by mozzies the whole time. We both now look as though we have a skin disorder! lol Kieran has over 30 bites and im not far off..They just itch real bad.Oh and our campsite was situated right next to a airport, i mean u could see the run way from over the fence. So that was always a nice was to start the day.lol after a while u do get used to it.
Thursday at the site was spent in our tents all day as we had the biggest down pour of rain, we did atempt a game of ping pong in a dry spot but not long after the heavens opened once again..
We left Venice yesterday and arrived here back in munich after another long train journey.
We are geting a train in an hr or so to Vienna where we shall be for the next day or so.
We would like to stay here again for a bit as the October fest has just started, the biggest beer festival in the world!!We manged to catch the carnival of floats and horses with people dressed in the tradtional german form. Was nice funny to see so many people drinking so early in the morning...
Well we best be off as we have a few things to sort out before we catch our train. Thank you all for our messages and e-mails as always nice to read. Dont work to hard!! x x x x x ove kie and han
