On Tuesday night we drove through spectacular thunderstorms to Heathrow and stayed at the Heathrow Hotel on Bath Road. It was gone ten but food was still being served. After breakfast we started our long journey home. Initially this meant driving to the ferry to get us back to the mainland and then on to Puerto Montt airport. We were relieved when the car hire company said there was no damage to the car. We got up early for a Saturday and dropped off the Meezers and JB at their respective 5 star all-inclusive resorts. We had plenty of time to get to Heathrow which was lucky as we were held up for over half an hour with a crash on the M1. We left our car at Purple Parking and caught their minibus to Terminal 5.
