Ken Price's Travels
This morning we were driven in the coach around the streets of Dublin while our local guide Shane, provided a lot of interesting information about the city and it's often turbulent history. We paid a visit to the Trinity College Library which houses a huge collection of old books and ancient manuscripts.
After lunch we headed on an excursion to Glendalough, about 50km south of Dublin which is renowned for its Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin.
In the evening, we were driven to Taylor's Three Rock Hotel about 11km south of Dublin where we enjoyed a 3 course meal, Irish Coffee and a very entertaining Cabaret show featuring singing, Irish Dancing, and comedy.
