Hi everyone! Just to keep you all up to speed with us. We have just returned from returning the hire car that we had for two days. Have seen some stunning scenery. Today we did a huge circle round the highest Queensland Mountain and the road this morning going up a pass was breath taking. Couldn't find a good restaurant, well by our standards! So an early dinner tonight before Ken has to fast.

Yesterday we went up the coast and saw some great beaches all empty and golden sands. Ken saw a sign for a restaurant which was in an eco area and the food amazing!

Dinner we tend to go to the Pier and choose from one of the many restaurants. We sit and watch folks walikng by and the back drop is the marina! The world's largest cruise ship was in last night. Quite an unusual ship as people own the apartments on board!

So tomorrow we go to the hospital; for 11am which means Ken will have us there at 10am. The insurance question is sorted from the insurance point of view but the hospital accounts people still not swayed and so the VSO medical unit nurse was going to call them as she used to work there and comes from Cairns!!! If still no agreement then it will get posponed until Thursday [Dr does proceedures only on Monday afternoons and Thursdays]. I may have to move out opf the apartment on Tuesday but the assistant manager hopes that they will have a cancellation. I'll go elsewhere for three nights which they are sorting. Back soon!
