Wanted a lye in this morning but annoyingly the dorm lights automatically come on at 08:00 and as I'm on top bunk I got the full brunt of the blinding lights this morning! Faffed around and packed our bags ready for our journey to Edmonton. Luckily one of the guys who worked at the hostel offered to take us into town to catch our bus rather than getting a taxi; we jumped to the chance as we saved ourselfs $20! Said our goodbyes to the lovely man who worked in the train station, who helped us out a few times but pulled a funny face when we said we were heading to Edmonton?! .... Our favourite greyhound driver showed up which we were really pleased about and we set off for our 5and a half hour journey. The journey was fairly mundane and not much to see. As we approached Edmonton we were both feeling a little disheartened. It was very built up and we noticed a few too many looking dodgy characters on the way into town.

I don't feel as safe here as I did in Banff and the hostel holds more of an eclectic mix of people. Our day in town tomorrow should be interesting!
