Up early again to get to Magnetic island, we headed straight for Townsville to catch the ferry across. Thankfully the weather has now turned hot so hoping to top up my tan abit. So caught the ferry across which only took about 25mins, arrived at our hostel which had it's own section of the beach was soooooooooooooo nice. Got some Kayaks out & went exploring round some rocks etc. Was a little nervous as they have probs with Tiger sharks around the island at the mo so was keeping my eyes open for fins!! Sat having a drink whilst the sun went down but that drink actually turned into a 12hrs drinking session as the footie was on... This time difference is not good for my liver during the world cup, the game didn't start till 1am so was hammered by that time ha ha. Had a really good night, was supposed to meet the bus driver at 9am for a guided walk to see wild Koala's but I never made it... We left here in the afternoon to head to Airlie Beach where I will spend the next 4nts as going on a 2nt boat trip out to Whitsundays.
