Well I'm now back in Oz & will now be travelling like a mad woman till I leave here..... After yet another brief night in Sydney (yes I know I'm always in Sydney at some point...) I flew upto Cairns where I would stay for 3nts. Was so excited about going to Cairns as it's still hot even though winter here, however I arrive & it's chucking it down bloody typical.... The weather stayed like this the whole time I was there so not impressed. I only had 2 full days so the 1st day I just strolled around the city centre getting wet GREAT then the 2nd day I booked a boat trip so I could dive the Great barrier reef. The sea was so rough that for the 1st time ever I got seasick.... so not funny when ur billy no mates on a boat!! Still made the most of it & had 2 dives at different locations, the 1st was really cool as got to see quite alot including 4 huge turtles & a white tip shark really close up. The 2nd dive wasn't all that as the weather got even worse!! Made sure I got at least 1 night in out on the town, was fun but have to say didn't really like Cairns so was pleased only gave myself a short time there.
