Hired a driver called Yoyo for the day. He was really good fun, a 'lunatic' of a driver though!! He played cheesy muzak in the car all day for us....John Denver, The Carpenters etc. We had a great old sing song! First stop was the floating market. Has to be seen to be believed. Teresa and I were terrified of getting into our motor boat! Eventually coaxed in we set off at high speed from the docking point into the market. Have some great photos, just have to read the camera manual about how to download them and they're on the way. Next stop was the gem factory.....yet again! This time we were coaxed into buying a ring each....just for the free drink!! Next stop was Watpho Temple where we saw the giant golden Buddha. Beautiful buildings and trees....very serene place. After the day of hard work we set off for our authentic Thai massage experience. And what an experience that was!! Little women climbing all over our backs, and grinding our muscles with their feet.....i think! The initial pain gave way to a state of bliss. Back to hotel for evening...... felt a little ripped-off after day out, seemed like our driver was picking up commission every where he took us. Big racket system going on definitely but we're still talking cheap.
