It was Amanda's birthday today the same day as Georges at home. Breakfast was at 8pm and i had cereal and pineapple and cup of tea. At 10am was a Fijian cooking lesson for $25. I watched the chef marinate Spanish mackerel in lime juice and make coconut milk from scratch. Up early for a Fijian scone (steamed coconut milk dumpling) and cup of tea for breakfast. We had to check out at 9am and wait for the boat on the hammocks to pick us up at 10:30. Last night there was a heavy storm. We woke up and watched the lightening and can hear the waves crashing below. Our hut kept us dry but our walking shoes got soaked as we left them on the porch. Today has been brilliant. We woke up to sunshine in Bounty Island finished packing and checked out. For breakfast I had a fried egg and beans on toast and a slice of pineapple to help it all digest. Perfect breakfast after drinking lots of wine on the Seaspray trip yesterday. The boat to our next island picked us up at 9am. We thanked the staff for a lovely stay and they waved and sung us off.
