Weve now been in cusco for almost 2 weeks, because of various botty problems !! but boy what a two weeks its been. Weve been to about 6 sets of really impressive ruins, done 10km treks up bloody mountains, horseriding, drinking with the crowning glory ending up at Macchu Picchu !!!!!!! It would also appear that we attended a wedding in the UK in between so I think all will agree a pretty impressive couple of weeks.

Thanks to Uncle Ben for a) his rice and b) the wedding photos as they gave us a huge chuckle, nice to know were there in spirit at the very least.

Off to the porn( sorry couldnt spell porcilain ) bus now, hope everyone is really cool.

Hello everyone

Well we are now in Nazca (famous for the Nazca lines) and have a flight over the lines booked for 3 this arvo. Well it was originally booked for 8, then 10.30 and now 3 so we will see!! Keeps getting delayed coz of the mist which doesnt really help seeing the lines and nothing in Peru seems to happen when its supposed to, part of the fun and all that.

Huaraz was pretty cool, and yes Nelly, finally we saw snow, no snowboarding but we have tried some sandboarding (onto that in a mo)! We did a tour to some ruins (yes more), to a lake up in the mountains and to a glacier - 3 hours walk at 5000m to the top of it, not for the faint hearted..After that we got a bus to Lima but its a pretty busy, noisy dirty city so we didnt see that much of it (well Karen saw the hotel room mostly coz she was ill with a cold and Keiran found a casino which provided you with free drink, cigarettes and food all night so he was a happy man, especially when he staggered back at 4 on the morning with $250 dollars in his pocket that he won on roulette and blackjack, Cass you would be so proud... So that has definately helped the budget for this week!)

From Lima we headed south to a lovely little place called Huacachina (no we cant pronounce it either) which was a town round a little lagoon surrounded by sand dunes, all very picturesque. We had a buggy ride in the dunes and tried our hands at sandboarding, great fun but we are still finding bits of sand in unusual places, lovely! And we managed to bump into someone Cass and Lash were travelling with in Thailand, Jules who also went on Nellys stag do and Lash and Toshis wedding, which freaked us out a bit, small world and all that.
We are back on the road again tonight to Cusco so watch this space for photos of Matchu Pitchu! Happy birthday Nelly belly, hope you were as lucky at the casino as Kikky!
