Hi all. We are in Colombia at the mo, strange, we never even intended to come here when planning the trip but after being told by so many people that it was unmissable, we changed plans to come here...... What a good choice, its is a really gorgeous place, with lots of really friendly people here. We have just finished our Diving Certification and spent three days chilling in paradise ( Tayrona national park), which was easily as nice as the beaches in Brazil. Weve hooked up with a nice aussie guy and have been out clubbing every night and done our diving together so all in all we like Colombia.
Brazil was a little disappionting, Ilha Grande and Rio were nice but so expensive that we had to move on quite quickly, we came through Venezuala, where the people were so much more friendly and landed in Cartagena, Colombia where we think we are going to spend Christmas.
After Christmas we will go to Panama City for New Years so hopefully that should be brill.... Hope everyone has a really nice christmas, drink lots and be Merry !!!!!
All our love

Obviously the weight of the fish caught by Karen, compared to Keirans' tiddlers is the reason why she was unable to pick it up.

Show me the way to Armadillo! You guys look like you're having a bloody fantastic time - the photies are amazing! I always had Peru and Galapagos on the list to visit, but I'm defintely going now! The glacier views are pretty immense too - but don't deny you bought the fish you "caught" from a local...
Enjoy enjoy...love, Wend.

Oh my god, Argentina is quite big then !!!!! It only took 42hrs on a bus to go from Buenos Aires to the south, Cayafate, to see the Moreno Glacier, which was absolutley amazing !!!!! After the glacier we went to penninsula Valdes where there is a a cool animal reserve, full of ARMIDILLOS !!!!! and pingus and seals. Lots of whales there to but weve seen them already so only stayed on terra firma.
After that we went to the lake district which is gorgeous. Not only was it the best place to fish, but cristal clear rivers and lakes, all surrounded by some of the best scenery so far, snow capped mountains and pine forests.
we only spent around 100hrs on a bus in the last 2 weeksm so not to bored of them ( yeh right ) Now we are back in Buenos Aires and had it large in creamfields on Saturday night. Brilliant. Had a cool night ( 2 many dj´s and prodigy rock ) and met some really cool locals, 2 of which we are meeting tonight for dinner and drinks ( Ah the backpacking life is so hard !!)
Next up Mendoza, for a spot of Wine tasting etc, and then Iguazu falls. Then Brazil.
England 3 argies 2, shame !!!
We wont mention the rugby !!!
Hope everyone is cool, we are fine and dandy!! Happy birthday bob, we had lots of drinks to celebrate on saturday for you.
All our love XXXX

Dinosaur tracks my arse!
'Juan! I have an excellent idea for making money from stupid gringo's!'
'What is it Héfe?'
'Hehehe...first we must buy a big Barney the Dinosaur costume, then you dress up in it and walk around the quarry till siesta time. Then we tell all the gringos that they are real dinosaur tracks and charge them 5 Bolivianos to come and see them. Soon we're rich and we can spend our nights with lovely senioritas drinking cervecas to the music of el Pan Pipes!'
'I think it is a great idea Héfe!'
'Thank you Juan...it is true I am a genius'
'Héfe...'
'Yes Juan?'
'Can we also make a plan where I dress up as Zorro?'
'Of course we can Juan...of course we can'

Hi all.
We have finally made it to the land of luxury !!!! After being in Bolivia we are now in Argentina, heading towards Buenos Aires for my BIRTHDAY ( 21st ) no hint or anything !!! Bolivia was excellent with the last week spent in a small city called Uyuni, where we went on a tour of the salt salars, which were absolutley amazing !!!
There is so many amazing sites on the tour, and met some really nice people ( not to mention lots of drinking )
However getting to Argentina is like a different world, its like europe but everything is alot cheaper! On the first night we went out to a club with some aussie chaps and stayed out drinking until 9am. The people hear are so friendly were off out again tonight with some people from our hostal. In Argentina they REALLY like to party, we went to a bar until 4 the other night then went to the club and were told we were to early.....TOO EARLY !!! We like Argentina !!
