J: For the next part of the East Coast trip Yuri and Mel flew over to join us. Meeting up with old faces was great and some long hugs where in order. We met them at the rental place to find out what our transportation was going to be like as they kindly organised it for us. What rolled up was unexpected.... A massive RV! We have stayed in smaller houses than this thing over the last few months, it had a kitchen area, toilet, shower and slept 4 comfortably. I was very impressed. Yuri took the driver's seat first then confessed he hadn't driven an automatic or anything that big before.... No wonder he hit a tree in the first 20 mins lol, but luckily it didn't make any damage.
But we found our first stop which was the XXXX Brewery and we took a tour. The girls learnt lots hopefully and Yuri got to see a commercial brewery. I particularly enjoyed the tasting at the end, happily they couldn't count too well and there were extras around and we got a couple schooners each at the end, with Mel not being a beer lover and Sam volunteering as driver, me and Yuri enjoyed an early start.

S: After parking the RV, that we named "tiny" in irony. We went on a walk around Brisbane. We took the guys along South bank and showed them the Brisbane sign and explained it had been such a hit, they were going to build a permanent fixture. Then as it had been a long walk, the guys decided to have some cocktails much to my dismay. The boys ordered the biggest margarita I have ever seen, talk about jealous lol. We then took Mel and Yuri to meet Dan at last, the local bottle-o (Dan Murphy's) and brought enough beer, cider and bubbles to sink a ship.
As we had explained to Scarlett we were leaving we thought it would be a good idea to show her the RV and meet the guys. She did ask if she could sleep in the RV too lol, so we did have to check for stowaways. So Lauren and Mat kindly did a massive BBQ and we had a few drinks and played cards against humanity. Which I might add brings out the best in people, and we learnt that Mat is one sick individual.
