So today we were forced into doing another tour! We only wanted to see maya bay but to get a taxi boat just us worked out 3 times the price of the tour so we went ahead with the 5 island tour instead of 1, first stop was monkey cove which was a tiny beach with hundreds of monkeys on which you could feed, as we didn't think to bring any food for them I tricked one of the smaller monkeys into posing for a picture by handing him an empty lychee skin, when he realised it was empty he literally threw it back at me and stormed off, another teeny tiny one tried to climb up my leg, but I stayed away from the bigger ones as they looked like they could be quite vicious! Next stop was snorkelling where we saw the usual culprits of fish but the water was the clearest of anywhere we've been! Finally we made it to maya bay which is beautiful, bright blue clear waters and white sand, however we decided not the prettiest we'd seen and (dare I say) overrated? But still beautiful all the same and worth the price to be on the same beach as leonardo de caprio! Next the boat pulled up 'to watch the sun set' even though the sun wasn't due to set for another 45 minutes, but it was all part of the group tour, thankfully after 20 minutes someone else suggested the didn't mind not watching the sunset, we all agreed and headed back to phi phi. Steak dinner (budget starts next week I promise) and a few games of pool then elliot decides to compete in a muay thai fight, free bucket so why not! He lasted 1 and a bit rounds and then had to throw up! back hometo pack and for one last night in the shed which btw we have now seen 2 cockroaches, numerous Mosquitos and ants, and a lizard! Thankfully only in the bathroom which we have kept locked!
