After the very disappointing waterfall at the party last night we go in search of bigger better waterfalls, we hire a moped which are stupidly cheaper than taxis here and with my expert nap reading skills, we get there... Eventually. The phaeng waterfall is the biggest on the island and carries on for ages, however the only way to see the top is to climb, as I'm wearing flip flops I also have to do it barefoot, after about 20 minutes we get to a little pool which is refreshing but not quite what we are expecting, as we are about to head down someone tells us we are only half way! So we carry on and finally make it to the top where there's a beautiful natural fall and proper waterfall, not just a trickle of water on some rocks where we thought was the top. We head back down and drive around til we find a lovely secluded beach where we spend the rest of the day after all the hard map reading and climbing
