A good start to the day with our friendly neighbours bringing us some BBQ beef for breakfast. The weather forecast for today was for rain so we were a bit unsure as to what to do... stay put or move on. We decided to move on and were very lucky as it didn't rain all day. Just a few drops as we pulled into our current camp. It is definitely raining now though. Once again, many tunnels, the longest was 5km, the worst was 3 km and mostly uphill. Tough going.
We did detour a wee bit to visit a cherry orchard which also had some lovely gardens to explore. And we stopped for lunch at an actual restaurant (not just a Seico Mart). Plenty of fresh seafood around. We saw a snake at one of our rest stops and Elsie was fascinated by that.
About 45km all up today and we have found a beautiful campsite at the Misheke Riverside camp. Right near an onsen so we got to wash and soak. Lovely hospitality yet again with "Management: Control" leaving a blanket under our tarp for us to keep warm while we were away cooking dinner (spaghetti with eggplant and veges!). I opened the blanket up almost expecting to see a couple of beers for us but that was wishful thinking. Our main issues at the moment are charging our devices, trying not to smell too bad and finding somewhere to do laundry.
