Over the last few days, a lot of things have happened. First went to a Pinata for a birthday party. Ate lots of nice different types of food all made from corn. Adri took me to Monsenor Romero museum in the local university. I learnt a lot more about this key person from El Salvador. We then went down town to the Palacio Nacional which we visited. Some beautiful gardens and colonial buildings. We walked along the busy streets of the capital with lots of side shops, very busy...! We went to the Cathedral of El Salvador where we sat down for part of the mass and then decided to go to the Ex quartel which is a very busy local market where you can buy crafts. We also went to the cinema and a big shopping mall called La Gran Via. I also made some lasagne for the family and they loved it. I have not been too well for the last two days, been in bed with temperature. I have caught some parasite with the street food I have eaten. All drugged up now and waiting to get better.
