Arrived to El Salvador on Monday at 6.25 de la tarde after 24h of travelling via London, Madrid, Guatemala City and finally El Salvador. A bit of a long journey but well worth it. El Salvador is a brilliant and vibrant place to visit. I m loving it. Only been here 4 days now but done so much stuff with my new family here who have adopted me pretty quick. Visited most sites in the city, been to Boqueron (panoramic view attached) which is a volcano with an amazing view of the city, been to Jardin Botanico, which is a local botanical garden which amazing plants and trees, having been eating shed loads of lovely different types of local cuisine, carne asada (BBQ invite), pupusas (national dish) y mucho mas...! Made some pancakes today for friends and they loved it, a bit of Breton cuisine export on the go...! Been to a pub for a few drinks, visited two museums. Today went to La Ruta de las Flores, a tour of nice typical villages. Amazing scenes of local life, very colourful...! Tomorrow, going to the beach for the weekend in a private Rancho. It should be a lot of fun...! The weather is scorching here, 30 degrees all day long, am burning...but it s brilliant. Salvadorians eat a lot and very often...so for those of you who know me I m in heaven...! Anyway, off to bed now, bloody knackered. Photos will soon be uploaded on the old facebook. Check this space :-)
