Hi Guys

Well the 3 hour ferry ride over here was bloody awful! the first 45 mins were smooth sailing then it seemed to hit a rough patch and the boat was huge like a cruise boat but we were going all over the place we were on the 8th floor and water was at the windows everyone was throwing up it was horrible but you will all be pleased to know miraculously i found some sea legs and wasnt sick maybe i might give the diving another go...well maybe not! Anyway we arrived to find our nice new hire car its the same make a mazda familla or something like that but dark green and off we went to find the hostel. First thoughts of Wellington is that its very quiet for a capital city unlike London where its so busy its very quiet here but thats nice to! Me and Jono have a bet going on at the moment that he has to be vegetarian for 10 days, were 3 days in and so far he has been ok but the bet is 50 NZ Dollars and i really could do with the cash so i might have to start throwing some steaks under his nose soon to get him to crack!!!! We went to sort out our china visa and are awaiting that at the mo as soon as we have that were off to find some of the locations that lord of the rings was filmed then up the east coast. We have seen the botanical gardens and the cable cars and went to the famous Te Tepa museum which gives you all the history of New Zealand and i have my hair nightmare story to tell.

Here goes....when i left England my lovely hair stylist wrote down all the colour for me and all i had to do was find a wella salon so off i went into about 5 salons none of them did wella only loreal and we all know what happend when Keith Graham salon used loreal on my hair(went grey, purple and ginger all at once), anyway i told them what happend and they assured me they would match it up so i went in one afternoon and they put the colour on, it hurt like hell even more than usual and was really burning but i though no pain no gain right? So they washed it off and said it was a bit golden(hairdressers term for ginger) so they said they would put a toner on it to make it lighter, they dried it and i had ginger roots and grey down the sides not a great look oh yes and seeping welts on my head where the colour had burned my scalp so bad, so off i went and came on the next day as my scalp needed a rest, they told me they would put some lightner on my roots to make it the same blonde as my ends so they did that and to get rid of the grey they put another toner on it again they dried it and again it was still ginger so yet again i had to have some more lightner on it and finally it went the right colour am still left with some bad sores on my head so they gave me a free shampoo that would heal my scalp(its an expensive one so was pleased about that and they did most of it for free) so lesson learnt Kristina do not i repeat do not get your hair done in any salon that does not do wella!!!!!
