Saturday morning we went Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. The line wrapped around the block and wound inside the park. Since it was Saturday and the kids are out of school, it was very very busy. It took about 90 mins to get inside the mausoleum and see the very well preserved Ho Chi Minh. Did I mention how hot it was waiting in line? HOT! We went on a few other tours after that.
Sunday we took an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Absolutely beautiful. Serene waters with almost 2,000 island peaks that the Vietnamese call dragon's teeth. We were on a junk boat, but they didn't have the sails raised (which I was looking forward to seeing). We visited a floating fishing village.
Let me tell you, we have gotten great service everywhere. They have made our honeymoon very special with flowers, balloons, even a cake.
