We traveled by Boat, Plane, Cyclo and horse and definitely saw Vietnam!

Favorite City: Hoi An
It was pretty, had great shopping and we stayed in our best Vietnam hotel, Ving Hung Emerald.

Best Pho: If you like noodles and soup, you'll love Vietnam's national dish Pho. We have a split decision, but both came from breakfast at our hotels.
Malik's choice: Hanoi Happy Hotel
Great balance of flavors and spice
Keisha's choice: Orchid Hotel in Hue
It was spicy, had lots of garlic AND it was a secret item that wasn't on the menu.

We ate very well in Vietnam. Every meal was great.

Favorite Tourist Attraction
Malik enjoyed the Citadel in Hue, it was huge and magnificent in it's day
Keisha, The Hai Van Pass, it was a panoramic view of central Vietnam

Craziest Moment:
Getting picked up by a Cyclo (a buggie attached to a bicycle) with our luggage to take us to the boat to Cambodia. Ok, it was 2 cyclos. Either way, it was Keisha, Malik, 2 suitcases, a duffel bag and 2 backbacks at 6:30 in the morning. Malik and I had just spent all of our Vietnamese money, and was scrounging to find something for a tip. It was not a proud moment. We had nothing but some Hong Kong Dollars and $20 from Trinidad. They took the money from Hong Kong since it was closer.

It was a great trip organized by Tonkin Travel (and Malik).
