Ebonie is my girl!! She was ready for us when we got to Alice Springs. For those of you who know my dislike for small furry animals, especially those with long tails, she got me outside petting wallabies! Wallabies are like mini-kangaroos, and actually very cute. They come out at sunset and you can feed them. These suckers actually grab your hand (very gently) while you're feeding them! Eb had mercy on Malik and me, and took us on several short hikes. We were really surprised that we liked Singapore. We left that place very full. We ate at the hotel, the mall and on the street. We walked on one street and saw groups of people tearing up these ice cream sandwiches and cones. When we found the source, I had to get one. The vendor was making them on the spot. I watched him smash some mango ice cream between two wafers and fell in love. Pretty people, good food, what's not to love?

On my birthday, we went snorkeling, I forced Malik to join me at the spa, and we had dinner entertained by Balinese Dancers. Can't beat that. I really enjoy Balinese dancers. Small, tightly controlled movements, with occasional crazy eyes (dramatic), and flashy costumes-loved it!

We decided to relax in Rayong for beach time. It's about 2.5 hours from Bangkok. We took the sky train, minibus and a taxi to get to the resort. The hotel and view were worth the adventure. The hotel suggested we go to Kho Samet for a day trip. Their beach is a little softer and they have a market, etc... We're on this boat to get to the island now. Bangkok is big and busy. Tall buildings in every direction, traffic and lots of people. We've been running so much, we decided that we would forgo the big temples and just take it easy. Malik got fitted for a few suits, and Keisha got a Thai massage. If you've had a Thai massage, you can imagine the experience.
