We arrived in Manila Philippines capital city on the 29th, we got a cab to our hotel well the hotel was actually a condo building with 40 floors it was really nice, it was about 5km out side of the city, it was mental in the city I haven't seen anything like it, so was good to stay just outside but even where we was staying it was mad all the noise from the cars driving and beeping. They use the old ww2 jeepneys here for local busses and there are hundreds, you can imagine how loud they are as their so old. When we was walking around everyone stared at you like they have never seen westerners before which was weird as its the capital city
Just down the road from our hotel was a massive shopping mall which also had a cinema, the first night we watch the only film they had showing ( batman vs superman) we didn't watch the whole thing we ended up walking out as it was rubbish and was so cold in there as had air con on full blast.
The next day we just chilled round the pool as we had a pool on the 7th floor, also done some organising for our trip.
We had a bit of a nightmare when booking are flight from Japan to Cambodia , the first time we done it is said error so we did it again but said error again, 10 mins later we got two confirmation through saying flight confirmed, so now we had two flights book for same time, place etc and one was £495 and £533.
We rung them up straight away but they said we had to speak to the flight company direct, cut a long story short after a number of calls and email we still haven't got are money back so frustrating. Dave on it thou so hopefully we will.
The next day we just chilled out again as are flight to Japan was on the 1st at 1:30am
All in all Manila wasn't as bad as we thought just nothing really to see or do
