So this morning we got up early for our day trip to Bohol, it is a 2 hour boat trip from Cebu city dock, we met our driver for the day as we got off the boat.
First we went to see the tarsier monkeys which was about hour half drive, the monkeys are smaller than your hand, we couldn't get up close as they are in the wild but we got to see a few which was good.
Next we headed to the chocolate hills but this time of the year are called green hill as the grass is on them, we walked to the view point there were so many stairs but still worth the view they went on for miles. Whilst there we took a quad ride around the hills which was pretty cool, I was sooo fast I left Dave behind.
After that we went for lunch which was on a floating restaurant, basically a restaurant built on a raft which floated up the river it was so nice and chilled, the food was munch we had fish, chicken , rice, noodles etc. We saw all the local kids playing in the river, jumping out of trees, swinging on rope swings generally loving life and some locals that live on the river side. We stopped to watch the locals do a dance for the boat which was really good they were all different ages from kids to old lady's.
We then headed to see the snakes the one on our picture was so big I got a bit scared so just sat next to Dave and had one touch lol , there was a ladyboy working there Dave got a slight photo of him/her/it whatever lol.
I really liked it in Bohol as it was a bit more touristy as Cebu city is mad and not many tourists.
We then headed back to Cebu city to catch the 6pm boat, we got back to the room and was knackered. We have another early star in morning as we are heading to moalboal a small town on the west coast and there are supposed to be many whale sharks in the area, so fingers crossed we have more luck than the shark dive in bluff.
