Day 40 29th April 2007

On the way to Westport Vicki and I finally got off our bums and went for a walk at Lake Rotoiti. It was a nice walk and only took about 40minutes. Im just lazy!!!!! The views were reaaly nice and got some wicked photos. We were feeding the ducks on the lake and 7 huge eel's came a took all the bread. I dont think I have ever seen ducks so scared. LOL... We were due to do a 2 hour horse trek when we got to Westport and the rain was still coming down. There is nothing like a little bit of liquid sunshine as they say on the Kiwi Bus! The horse riding was really good. I wasnt too sure if I would like it or not because they girl on our bus fell off a horse in River Valley and broke her arm, but I only had a little pony. Plus I know horses dont like cars do they ROB!!!! LOL..... Some of you may know what I am talking about. We got to canter along the beach and head back actually walking through the river. Really good day!
