Day 21 - 28 8th -15th april 2007

To be honest there is not much to do in Fiji being stucj on a single island so thought I better not bore you with me laying on the beach and just give you the highlights.

We started of at Beachcomber Island which is the main Backpackers resort. When we booked it, it was a choice between an 87 beed dorm or a twin Private lodge. Well me being me you can guess where we were. The private lodge it was. There was no way I was sharing a room with 87 other people in that heat.

So highlights - Day 2 on Island Im not felling 100% I wake up, have a little soak in the sun and then its Lunch. Only this could happen to me. One minute im lining up for food the next i wake up to find 30 people looking down over me because I decide I want to pass out. Im OK tho, a mix of not eating and drinking enough in the heat I think. I had an umbrella for the rest of the afternoon!

We met 2 other travelers through my act, Hannah and Hayleigh. Thats when the Party Began. We brought some Vodka on the main land and took it down to the bar in a water bottle thinking we would get away with just buying a few Diet Cokes. I think we had the wrong idea because we soon got that taken away from us. It was ok tho because some other people had more!! We watchws a show called the bula dance which was good and then the music started. I never realised how difficult it is to dance on sand. LOL... I think Vicki felt abit worse for wear in the morning!

Second stop was Bounty Island - AKA - Celebrity Love Isand - This is were they film the first series when they have the Love Shack. The weather turned bad for the next 4days so not much happened. We look a walk around the Island and had a walk through the Shack which has been completly ruined. So Vicki and I thought it would be a good Idea to add to it and wrote ours names one the wall with a little message. I have a few photos so have a look.

Apart from that I went Snorking on the Reef which was Beautiful- Some people say its nicer than the Great Barrier Reef but I will let you know in about 2 months time. The fish were amazing with so many different colours but the Jelly Fish were a pain in the Arse.... SORRY! Just which I had an undewater camera so I could have taken some photos.
