Day 29 17th April 2007

The New Zealand adventure begins here. We are heading to the Paihia in The Bay Of The Islands today on our first Kiwi Bus. The journey wasnt too bad, 4 hours drive. Hostel is nice but sharing a room with some girls that aren't that chaty. We took a ride on a highspeed Jet boat to see the Hole in the Rock. You should have seen the state of my hair afterwards. I thought it was back already. lol... Nice little quiz night in the evening which gave us the chance to get to know everyone. We came third!! Come on.... On and I can drink out of a pint glass now.

Day 30 18th April 2007 (Day trip to Cape Reinga)

It was an very early start today of 7am to get to Cape Reinga which is the northest Point of New Zealand. First stop was the Puket Kauri Forest? to see somme trees over 2000 years old. VERY INTERESTING!!! not..... The day did get better though. We arrived at Cape Reinga? and saw where the Tasman and Pacific Ocean meets and creates a rip like think in the water. It was a sight to see and got some wicked photos. The Sand Boarding was def the best part of the day tho. It was so much fun but the walk to the top of the Dune did me in. I could only do it 3 times. After we took the bus along inety Mile Beach. We saw a car that got stuck in the sand a week ago and was still there. Have a look at the photos when I attach them. There wasnt much of it left. Finished the day off with Fish and Chips. Yum!

Day 31 19th April 2007

Very Chilled out day today. Heading back to Auckland nut didnt leave until the afternoon and didnt have that much to do. Managed to watch a little TV and a couple of films to pass the time. Stayed in the Girls Only floor at Base this time and we got free shampoo and conditioner. lol.... Highlight of the day. Sad I know!
