Merry Christmas from Melbourne! We arrived at Justin's yesterday after a delayed flight and a lot of hanging around at airports. Really nice to be here. Caught up on some sleep, eating mince pies and doing some long overdue laundry. Spending Christmas lunch at Emma's parents house tomorrow after a trip to the beach in the morning. We had a lovely time in Don Det, doing some more relaxing. Hired some bicycles one day and cycled to an amazing waterfall. Stayed there for three nights, then headed up to Champasak to see Wat Phu, a massive Angkor temple complex. It was pretty incredible, like something out of Indiana Jones. Hi everyone, Fog cleared a bit in Sapa so we got a motorbike and went around some hill-tribe villages. The views were incredible and we didn't fall off at all. Went back to Hanoi for a day to do some more eating ice cream by the lake and then headed down to Hue on an overnight bus. HiWe arrived in Hanoi ok. Went to Halong Bay for a couple of days and stayed on a boat overnight. Did some kayaking, swimming and cave exploring. Very relaxing. We're now in Sapa, up in the mountains of North West Vietnam. We can't see anything for the fog at the moment, wanted to rent some motorbikes to explore but it's all a bit dangerous.
