We had a lovely time in Don Det, doing some more relaxing. Hired some bicycles one day and cycled to an amazing waterfall. Stayed there for three nights, then headed up to Champasak to see Wat Phu, a massive Angkor temple complex. It was pretty incredible, like something out of Indiana Jones. After that we spent a lot more time on buses, not our favourite pastime in Laos. We stopped off in Pakse (and found some Roti Canai!!), on the way to Vang Vieng in northern Laos. We did some more relaxing in Vang Vieng and went tubing down a river in a tractor inner-tube. The town was full of TV bars that moslty show Friends and have bed-like seats. We managed to find one where we could watch Family Guy and Anchorman.

We're now in Luang Prabang (after another epic bus trip, why does every single Laos person get extrremely travel sick?). This town is full of temples and monks. We looked round some really nice ones yesterday (temples, not monks) and are going to see a huge waterfall today. We've booked some buses to get us to Bangkok for our flight to Australia in a few days.

Hope everyone is feeling Christmassy, we're not.
