We were up bright and early this morning at 6:30am for our Funyak tour. The bus picked us up from a nearby bus stop and we ate our pre-bought bakery treats whilst waiting for the bus. Today we sleep in till 10am and then made a short 20mins drive to a nearby town called Arrowtown. It's really cute and Leura-esque. We found a French cafe for brunch where I had some delicious Camembert fondue. A real healthy breakfast. We explored the town after that, checking out the shops and the old Chinese mining huts. Today we picked up our hire car and started the drive to Queenstown. It was kind of a relief to leave Christchurch and I'm glad we hadn't planned to stay there any longer. The trip to Queenstown took about 6 hours which we thought was pretty quick and didn't feel like long at all. Along the way we stopped at Macca's for some breakfast. Today we arrived in Christchurch. The flight felt quite short and I actually arrived in New Zealand at the same time that Shannon got home!
