Today we slept had a leisurely breakfast and then found a good spot by the pool. We had lunch on the boat then disembarked at Izmir. We walked out of the dock to be greeted by lots of Turks trying to get you into cabs or take you on tours. We finally talked to some guy who told us we had to get out of the port if all we wanted to do was go into the city. We established that there were no cabs that took 8 so we had to go in 2 and had to make sure we ended up in the same place. This guy took us over to his mates who then tried to talk us into a tour. This resulted in some heated discussion but we eventually got in. The traffic of course was crazy and then the cabs got separated. We then turned down a tiny street that had witches hats blocking it but some guy moved them to let us through. We were getting a bit nervous as to where we were being taken. Then we see the other cab in front everyone is out of it but Danos is at the boot with a map talking to some guy. Apparently they had been told by the cabbie they had to go into this guys shop and then they would show us where we were on the map. Eventually it was made clear that we were not going in the shop it turned out that we were at the bazaar like we were supposed to be. After all that the shopping was pretty ordinary and we walked back to the ship via the water. Went to Henrys pub for 2 for 1drinks for a change. Oh yeh forgot to say Scott is in the final of superstar karaoke. He is all nervous about it and doesn't, know what to sing so tonight he practiced some songs at normal karaoke and then sung with the band in bandeoake. Danos has been cracking everybody up with his karaoke. People are laughing so much they are crying. Anyway tonight ended up pretty late about 1 am
