Today we left Lake Como after a beautiful breakfast. We were collected at 10.30 by the cab driver we had teed up the previous night. We got on the train at Como and then needed to change trains at Lugano to go to Lucerne. Police did get on the train which was a concern for Liz and Danos with no passports. All went smoothly and arrived in Lucerne about 3.30 and to our delight found out our hotel was 5 mins from the station. We checked in and went for a walk, we crossed over the main bridge and then walked over Chapel Bridge. Really beautiful city, very expensive. On the train ride from Lugano we saw some amazing scenery as we wound through the alps. Ended up having Burger king for dinner as we stuffed around too long deciding what to eat.
