Today we started off at MOMA. I don't know if we are a very uncultured lot but some of the stuff called 'art' is somewhat puzzling. For instance 120 bricks in a square on the floor, art? A piece of canvas hung on a wall? Anyway we saw Starry Starry night by Van Gogh, some weird and wonderful Picasso. I did like some of the Cezzanes and Gaugins. After MOMA we went to the Soup Nazi kitchen where Gerry purchased a lobster bisque which he said was very nice. From here we walked down to 5th Avenue we went into The Plaza to see how the other half live. I was hoping To run into Channing Tatum as we heard he had left his backpack in a cab the day before. I would love to stay in one of these places just once. From the plaza we went to Tiffanys where Trevor got Di her birthday present. From Tiffanys the boys went down to the Bronx to visit Yankee Stadium and the girls went back to Broadway for some shopping. We met back at the Hotel and then got changed to go on our pub crawl tour. We met Daniel Barbarino (no relation to Vinnie) in Times Square to begin our tour of Hells Kitchen. He was a big fan of the rat pack especially Sinatra. He took us to a bar called Rudis where a lot of famous people have hung out. It is one of the original dive bars and the couches in the booths are covered in electrical tape. This is how they stay together. The owner doesn't spend any money on the place. You can get unlimited hotdogs while you are in there drinking. We had a Rudi Red Beer which was really nice.Daniel told us a lot of stuff about the area and gave us a good picture of what it used to look like. It was freezing and I wasn't appropriately dressed (so Scott told me) anyway the 3 hr tour turned into a 4 hr tour. I was very tired and very cold by the time I got home. Gerard, Wenners and Scott went to the Australian Bar for a nightcap but the rest of us went home to bed.
