Sorry a bit late with yesterday's post. It was a big big day. We had a lovely home cooked breakfast of blueberry bread pudding and Turkey sausage, yoghurt, fruit and biscuits (scones), coffee with chicory. Brett from OMalleys 1896 booked our tour of the city and cemeteries and cemeteries. The tour guides name was John and he was hilarious. We saw lots of interesting stuff and saw some of the lasting effects of hurricane Katrina. We were dropped back on Canal at for a short walk to Bourbon St. We started at 2pm and got home about 3.30 am.What a great night, lots of laughs, lots of drinks, lots of singing and lots of dancing. What a great place - all the bars have plastic cups you can tip your drinks into and then walk around the street. Live music everywhere. Had catfish for dinner which was beautiful and bought a fishbowl (a container to wear around your neck With your drink in it) the other girls got a grenade. Really great start to our trip.
