As you can see from my photo today we did the Sound of Music tour. Really interesting, disappointing to find out so much of the movie isn't true. Went to the Abbey where Maria stayed and also the real church where they were married. We went via the palace that was used in the film and also the tree lined path that Maria ran up with her bags and where the children were hanging out of trees in their clothes made of curtains. Also the rotunda that Leisal danced around singing I am sixteen going on seventeen with Rolf. Then we walked around a monastery, Salzburg is also the birthplace of Mozart so we saw his house. It is only a small place of 60000 people. I think today I took about 500 photos. It is a beautiful place and another place to add to my favorite places list. Which I might add is getting very long. Then we get back on the bus to head to Munich for our last night of the tour. We go out to dinner at a typical Bavarian Restaurant take lots of photos and say goodbye to everyone. Lots of cuddles etc. Back to the bar say goodbye to our driver Livio and say goodbye to Christina.
