Okinawa!
Early start at 4am! The train to the airport was packed but luckily I was the first stop so I had a seat.
It took about 1hr 30 to get to the airport but the route was very scenic so I didn't mind!
Airport is tiny! But I was in domestic not international. On the plane now! I'll try add more to this later!
So I'm in Okinawa!
It's quite urban, there's only one monorail, to get anywhere else you have to get the bus. Which is what ill be doing when I (hopefully) go to Okinawa Aquarium!
As for today, Aki (my host) picked me up from the station and drove me to her house.
There's another guy staying here who is very cool and a beautiful artist, I really like his style. So I've said if he can design something that represents Japan, and I like it, I may get it tattooed! He also speaks good English and Japanese so he's helping me learn and improve my Japanese :)
Went to the international street for dinner. So much going on there! Pokemon store, One Piece store, sweet shops, weird ships and plenty of restaurants. The one I went to, you choose from a machine, get a ticket, give to the waitress then you get served. I had veg ramen with pork and scallop and it was sox good! Although I feel I may have been eating it wrong as the staff kept watching me and talking to each other then having a little laugh. No idea!
Early to bed as early start tomorrow!
