Short blog as the last one was so long!
So today I had the plan of going to the Imperial Palace East Garden then going onto Meguro's Parasite Museum. Didn't work out that way...
Today the sun was out in full force! Yay!
It was shining the whole day. Which is why my plan didn't work.
I got to the Gardens by around 11, I had bought myself a rice bundle for lunch so I didn't have to worry about lunch. I took a leisurely walk through the old gardens. Plum and cherry blossom was all over the place which only added to the beauty and serenity of the garden. So I sat on the grass after walking through half the garden and ate my rice ball and started writing postcards. Once I had finished I felt so chilled I just lay on the grass for a while. I realised it was half four and figured it we too late to go to the museum and I took my time seeing the rest of the garden (including a pond with a little waterfall) before heading to a the station. I didn't know which way it was so I asked a guard where it was in Japanese, not only did he understand, but I understood what he said back! Proud moment for me! So I got on the train and went back to the hostel where I just ate dinner then packed. Got to get up at 6to get to the airport for 8am! Maria airport takes an hour to get there. But because I have to try and find the right station after getting to Ueno and not being sure of the time, I wants give myself extra time to get there. Then it's off to Okinawa, which I'm very excited about!!
But for now, goodnight!
