Today I have found my happy place!!!!

Absolutely mind blowing scenery!

Started the day with breakfast at the hotel, then an early morning trek from Echo Point along the cliff edge by Scenic World. The wind was gale force and absolutely freezing!! Got to Katoomba Cascades then headed back the same way.

Drove into Leura and had a walk down to Gordon Falls (up and down about a million steps!) which turned out to be dry- although the views of the mountains were incredible! Saw Leura Cascades too.

Went for some lunch and a coffee to warm up in Leura town, then headed to Wentworth Falls which has now become my favourite place in the world so far!

Trekked down to the Weeping Rock, then the actual Wentworth Falls which were just breathtaking, so peaceful and beautiful, the wind had dropped by this point and the sun was out which meant it was quite warm, perfect conditions!! Followed the Undercilff Trail to Fletcher's Lookout, once again, stunning views- that Fletcher bloke clearly knew what he was doing!! Finished off with Princes Rock viewpoint as the sun was starting to set! A truly incredible day, I feel totally peaceful and relaxed after all the exercise and fresh air, and also exhausted!

Stopped off in Lawson for a cuppa with Uncle E's old friends Leigh and Daz and their daughter Evangeline and then headed back down the main roads, only took about an hour and 45mins to get back, as opposed to 4.5 hours on the way there! Am now sitting in the warehouse with a glass of wine and finishing off my pasta from lunchtime!!

Another perfect day!!
