First stop- coffee and a muffin at Ooomph coffee shop in Gosford, pretty amazing muffin (called a chocolate overload!)
Then a quick look around Gosford Art Gallery, the Japanese Gardens there were really peaceful, spent some time mesmerised by the fish!!
Then on to Australian Reptile Park! Was SUPER excited even before we got there but it totally surpassed my already high expectations!! They have a huge crocodile called Elvis which was really cool!!
Just in reception I got to stroke a Tawny Frog Mouth (a bit like an owl) I got to stroke kangaroos and wombats, cuddle dingo puppies (cutest things ever- sorry jack!!) saw some amazing birds and during the reptile show, I got picked out of the crowd to go into the enclosure and hold a huge Burmese Python!! So amazing!! Got totally ripped for being English but the guy was awesome and really knew his stuff!! Rosie the alligator took a liking to me as well! I have some great videos but the blog is not liking it when I upload videos for some reason!!
Then cuddled a koala, stood near to the enclosure where there was a talk on how to catch funnel web spiders (only near, about 6 foot back actually!) but I saw them fairly close up and managed not to pass out or even cry (progress!) They do some amazing work making the anti venom for snake and spider bites and loads of conservation work, especially for the Tasmanian devil which is under threat from a nasty disease!
All in all another incredible day (I am running out of adjectives to use to describe things!!) Would really struggle to pick a favourite part, and I have only been here for 6 days!! Another 36 to go!!!
