My last day in Cairns today, really sad about that, have fallen in love with this place! A group of us decided to go to a Crocodile park today, about 40minute drive up the coast, amazing views again! The crocodiles were HUGE! And so many of them! Got to go on a boat cruise around a lagoon with loads of crocs in it and they fed them off the boat, the noise was insane! A couple of them had a fight in the water over the food right in front of us! So cool! Also watc...

Had a big night last night!! Sat drinking goon (wine from a box!) at the hostel with everyone, playing drinking games and goon pong! Went to a place called PJs which had a live band on, they were really good, cue crazy dancing and falling off bar stools, am now covered in bruises but so worth it, had such a good night!! Woke up feeling like death though! Major hangover! Went to find coffee with Laura and did a bit of shopping but then just crashed out in the TV ...

Up nice and early to go on a trip to Josephine Falls, about an hour away! Squeezed 7 of us in Sam's jeep with me and Laura in the boot! Got about 40 minutes into the journey and had to pull over as the engine was overheating and there was steam coming out of it! Not good! Someone pulled up to have a look at it and something had actually melted off the engine!! Had to call a tow truck, Sam waited with the car and the rest of us hitchhiked back to cairns!! Got ba...

Nice chilled out day today. Aching all over from wake boarding! Headed down to the lagoon and did a bit of sunbathing then had a happy meal for tea! One of the guys at the hostel put on a quiz so we all sat doing that, very funny! Then we watched the lion king! Lovely day!!

Today we tried wake boarding! So much fun but so exhausting! Started out on knee boards, you hold on to a zip wire and it drags you round this lake with jumps and everything and you have to try and stay on! Really difficult at first but got into it, when you fell off you had to swim to the side and walk all the way back to the start! Tried the proper boards afterwards where you have to stand up, but could not do it at all! Face-planted the water a number of times...
