Had a lie in which was easy as our hotel rooms have no windows!! Very strange. Its not cell like at all, but it is quite dark and bizarre when you wake up as it still feels like night time! Me and Jen decided we needed some shopping time!! So got a taxi to the Golden Triangle - the centre of 3 huge shopping complexs, and it didnt dissappoint. It was very western, with every shop you can imagine (even a topshop!) and we definately got the retail therapy in, along with a haircut at Toni and Guy! lol.Its the only one in Malaysia so we felt quite proud of ourselves that we had found it!! hehe. Everythings much cheaper here, even in the topshops and toni and guys (cut and blow was about 15 quid with a director!), so we didnt feel too guilty! Went and met up with the group in the Reggae bar after tea in the golden triangle, was strange seeing everyone for the first time that day, we usually have breakfast, lunch and tea together!! Had lots to drink as we felt it only right to take advantage of the 5 ringett (80p) drinks for girls! Played pool and danced the night away, as you do in a strict Muslim country!!
