The hills are alive with the sound of music! We arrived in Salzburg on Thursday at about 2pm, it's now 2pm Saturday and for that whole time I've had various songs from the sound of music soundtrack stuck in my head.
Salzburg is beautiful! We checked into the hostel when we arrived, went and got groceries for lunch & dinner, and ate a late lunch before setting off to explore. Everywhere is so easily accessible by foot in Salzburg! We walked through the Mirabell gardens to the river that runs through Salzburg, and then over the river to explore the town. Mozart was born in Salzburg, so there's Mozart stuff everywhere!

Fun fact for the day: Mozart died from the plague without anyone knowing, because he wasnt too liked at the time, and was buried in a nameless grave. Now everyone loves him!
