riteo i have been instructed to rite the next few days of becky, nessas and
karlis wild adventures in malaysia, lalala so this shud be fun....

after spending what has seemed like a million years visiting abandoned towns
and ghost villages we decided to travel onwards and upwards (kinda) into
Taman Negara, the oldest rainforest in the world. this was a proper mission
to get to as we had to get this little canoe boat thing for 3 hours down the
river to get to our villagey place in the jungle where we were staying. we
did this of course rite in the middle of a thundastorm and so got complete wet and
cold and almost died of hypothermia (but you will all be gad to know that we
didnt)

today we went on a little hike through the jungle, (where karli was
terrified she was gunna be eaten by monkeys) and did some tree top canopy
walking stuff, which was super duper fun, and just in case anyone was
worried, non of us got eaten by tigers or giant spiders, and thankfully for
karli no man-eating monkeys were spotted, although we were slightly
disappointed that we didnt get to meet any of the cast of the jungle book
during our adventures.

We found all the locals really friendly, although they all thought nessa was
slightly crazy due to her random outbursts into song and dance every so
often. we then got a bus back into town (coz we didnt wanna risk the whole
stuck on a canoe in a thundastorm senario all over again) and now im here
writing to you.

the plan at the moment for our next few days is to get a bus down to malacca
and stay there for a few days.. apparently its filled with museums and so we
mite end up staying forever if ness has anything to do with it hehe, and
then start traveling up the west coast of malaysia, hopefully avoiding all
deserted towns in the process!
