Hands down one of the best places to eat in Phuket has to be the Butterfly Bistro. It's down from the Old Phuket Resort on the street leading to the main road. Service is great there with friendly waitstaff and beautiful food ranging from Thai to Western. The fried rice in pineapple which is served in a whole pineapple is out of this world.

Another great place is Spoon in the Jungceylon Mall in Patong. I can't even convey with words how wonderful the food is here. It's a quiet little bistro with seating outside as well. The menu is in French but with lots of photos and you can figure out what things are even with limited language skills. I had the roasted chicken panini and the bread was heavenly. The chicken was beautiful as well. The taste was superb. Tony had the mushroom pasta which looked fabulous and was served with crusty bread just the way he likes it.

We are off to the Dino Park mini golf this evening. There's a restaurant there and we're going to try that. We will let you know how it goes.
