Fabulous day! We took off from the resort at 8.30 for the Siam elephant park. Our guide took us to see the baby elephants first. They were so cute and smart. One painted a picture and they both kicked balls and said hello to all of us there. I got to feed bananas to them after. Then we walked up a hill and got to hop on our elephant. Our driver was tabochai ( not sure how to spell that) but he was really nice and took pictures for us and we talked a bit. He was great. It was a great trip.
Then we rode back to the resort and tony forced me to get my very first massage. I'm glad he did. My back had been hurting and I feel great now. She was better than my Osteopath! :)
We went for a swim in the ocean later and had a good time with Tony trying to teach me to body surf. I don't think my body is made for surfing. I did a lot of body choking on sea water great though.
Then we had some fried rice and a ham and cheese sandwich for an early dinner.
I discussed with Tony how Thailand is pretty much a culture shock when you arrive but then it grows on you very quickly. We both love it.
