Well it's Sunday. We thought it was Saturday. Somewhere along the way we've lost a whole day. But I guess that's how it is on holidays. Tomorrow we are headed to Phi Phi Island on a speedboat. We will spend the day there and come back tomorrow evening. We sat up and watched a documentary on the Boxing Day tsunami the other night. It was so horrible. They have tsunami warning towers in place now but you sort of know that if it happens again, you're really on your own.

Yesterday it rained almost all day so we are looking forward to getting out again today to look around. Tony and I finally succumbed to one of the tailors here. He is from India and to be honest, was a pretty good salesman I guess. We know it's all a script but hey, in the end Tony is getting two tailor made shirts for about 35 bucks. We could have gotten them cheaper but I just can't justify the amount of work going into it any cheaper. I think many Westerners come here and try to get everything for nothing. I know that's just how things work but these people are trying to make a living just like we do, you know? Anyway, if I had more money or was rich, I'd probably be giving money left and right.

Ok. More tomorrow about Phi Phi. Can't wait :)
