Had a magic view this morning on the drive to school drop off. Saw a line of about 8 or 9 deer bounding across a field over the road in front of us and continuing across the next one. The christmas festivities are well under way here and cheesy christmas jumpers abound! We went to the opening of the Bury St Edmunds Christmas "Fayre" Thursday night. The square and the cobble-stoned mall were all lit up with fairy lights for the lantern parade and there were real full size pine christmas trees decorated in the centre. Today saw the lovely Arc du Triomphe, Sacre Coeur in the sunshine and the Moulin Rouge. Highlight was visiting the Louvre. Zoe and I got front row view of the Mona Lisa.... so special...unbelievable! After much debate over the astronomical costs involved, again having our pre booking of tickets lost and a 1 hour queue ...we finally walked through the gates into the magical Disneyland. Phew!!
