Happiness Is The Road
This was a 'do nothing much' day before I travel to Hanson Bay to start my two weeks voluntary work at the animal sanctuary. I have had this stay at the sanctuary booked since February and I am really looking forward to it. All I wanted to do today was finish my book and get my laundry done, so that is all I did. My mum and Jay will be pleased to know that all my clothes are now clean! These washing machines are quite easy to handle when you get used to it! I did finish my book, Blood Harvest by SJ Bolton. It was brilliant. It had loads of twists and turns to it and an excellent ending. I wasn't disappointed. Later on I started another book, Tracks by Robyn Davidson. It is Robyn's account of her epic journey across 1,700 miles of Australian desert and bush with four camels and a dog. She is a good writer and I was hooked on this book after reading only a few pages. I have been winding down my fridge contents for the last few days as when I'm at the sanctuary I'll be eating and sleeping in their accommodation. I'll be leaving the camper parked outside and will need to turn the fridge off. I had bacon and scrambled eggs for tea which was yummy scrummy. It's my last night in the cosy camper for a couple of weeks. Nite nite lovely people.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
"Impossible is just a big word thrown
around by small men who find it easier
to live in the world they've been given
than to explore the power they have
to change it. Impossible is not a fact.
It's an opinion. Impossible is not a
declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is
potential. Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing'
Remember keep an open mind. Nothing is impossible however strange it may seem.
