The Essentials in Nelspruit

After a long drive and a lot of road works we arrived in Nelspruit to a power cut and Nelspruit Backpackers which I don't recommend to anyone!! It was very laid back and close to the local shopping centre where we'd get what we needed but the rooms wheren't so clean and the showers not hot and definitely not clean - sleeping on the bed felt like an adventure!! That evening power did come back on and we walked up to the local laundry and sat having a couple of cold beers while waiting for it to wash and dry. Next morning we were up early and out on a quest to find medical insurance and to get to an internet terminal. It didn't start too well when Dave and Kaz were told at the local internet café that the internet was still down, the server hadn't been re-set after the power cuts but we walked over to a larger shopping area and found a café that did work the bad news being the power would be going out again at 1pm but it gave us some time at least. We also found the AA travel store here so were able to get our medical insurance so are all set if anything happens - touch wood it shouldn't!! After a final shop we were off in the direction of Kruger…………….
