When we are 'travelling', sometimes it seems we see/do/experience 100 things in a day. When we are 'living' as we have been the last couple of weeks, there is a restful and charming peace to our existence - walks by the lake ('the odd couple" is today's picture - mother & child near Glendalough), the first snow of the season (brrrrr!), playing with the cats, and, of course, binging on Netflix (admission of the problem is the first stage of recovery - we survived Breaking Bad then raced through Better call Saul... oh we wish they could produce this stuff faster - we're addicted!) We of course had to fit in a couple of solid days of packing and the reversal of the Big Bang (which is what happens when we know we're spending a few weeks in one spot and our bags seemingly explode). With all that accomplished and a big day of housework it was suddenly Moving On Day... we headed into Dublin and spent a night at an airport hotel. The Clayton was dressed to the nines in Christmas attire and was really our first dose of 'Christmassy-ness' so hugely exciting. We had a nice dinner and a sleep and the hotel was a snazzy staging point for finally hitting Dublin Airport on the morning of the 29th (officially Travel Day). Where to? You may well ask (if you've not been paying attention as we've been banging on about it for months) - Zagreb, Croatia! They've won the title Best Christmas Markets in Europe the last two years in a row... will this year be the hat trick?
